bangalore communal riots: No Politics Please

July 11
by close to reality 11. July 2008 01:29

heard that communal riots are going on in Bangalore, karnataka, today between two religious groups..its not difficult to digest this kind of news in our very democratic India.. hope the fire will go down soon and our beloved politicians don't make use of the situation for their advantage.. why i said politicians here, because no single person in this modern world is really interested in putting himself near a gun point or knife stab for the sake of religion unless they are extremists.. but our politicians are very good in keeping the fire alive and if possible add some petrol to it..

when i was young.. everyday i used to listen radio during the school lunch hours while taking the lunch at home.. there was one standard news that i know before the newsreader reads is.. "PAATA BASTHI LO KATTI POTLU.. MUGGURU BALI" etc., etc., related to these communal riots.. those days i was not so clear about the people in my town saying that these are all due to the dirty politicians, not due to the public.. Its only after there is a change in Government in Andhra, this kind of incidents are almost nil.. may be congress party took it as a heritage in "dividing people based on religion and get benefitted by it".. may be it is a "Outside Secular - Inside some other thing" ..

As BJP took charge of Karnataka recently, it is natural that JDS and Congress parties will be sitting on the edge of their chairs to find some reason to picturise BJP as "Matatatwa" infront of the world.. And it will be easier for them as long as leaders like "Narendra Modi" are publicly supporting certain religion.. lets hope people will act wisely in this kind of sensitive situations and under the influence of some dangerous politicians.. and lets remember that "we all are indians first, then only a hindu, a muslim, a christian or a sikh or whatever".. "JAI HIND" .. "Mera Bharat Mahaan"
