Our Government devotes hundreds of acres of land to Mining Mafia, Real Estate companies, and bulldozes hills for bloody SEZs. But a popular leader couldn't find place at Pavuralagutta. At least a "ghat" can be developed over there, as his memorial garden. AP Govt was enthusiastic about renaming a district, which was not really necessary. No CM's/political leader's statue is allowed in impartial Govt offices and Legislative Houses. But there is a statue for him in Assembly, and GHMC episode on his birth anniversary was also controversial. Now the officers turn rational about a piece of land!
>> Common man is least bothered whether it is YSR Kadapa district or Kadapa district. Who wants know whose statues are there in House? But a park always makes one recalling him and the tragedy in forest.
