TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu launches indefinite hunger strike in New MLA quarters against 'inadequate relief package for farmers': TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu's indefinite hunger strike started in New-MLA quarters in Hyderabad today. Naidu started his hunger strike in disappointment with the package announced by the AP state government to the farmers who lost their crops in the recent heavy rains. Several leaders are going to join Naidu in this hunger strike and mostly the women TDP leaders are going to do relay hunger strikes in support to Mr.Naidu's indefinite hunger strike.

TDP leaders and leaders of state farmer groups are also going on hunger strikes state wide. Chandrababu Naidu warned the state government on monday that if the government don't come up with a proper package for the farmers who lost their assets and crops, he'll start hunger strike to achieve their demands.
On thursday state chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy announced the increased input subsidy for the farmers Rs. 4,500 to Rs. 6,000 per hectare but TDP's and farmers' demand is Rs.10,000 per hectare.
