Within 24 hours after the formation of TVS (Telangana Vimochana samithi), KCR, The chief of TRS resigned to his post. In response to the recent opposition KCR resigned and said he was disturbed by the incidents happening in the party and especially the attack against his family for the last 30 days. He stated that this is a conspiracy of United Andhra Leaders against TRS. Interestingly, in his resignation he didn't mention about the recent poor performance of TRS. On one hand the opposition leaders are glad to hear the news, and on the other hand his resignation bringing him sympathy and immediately after his resignation, mothe shobhan reddy of TRS also resigned for his post to support KCR.

TRS leader madhusudhana chari said that KCR called him and handed over him the 3 pages resignation letter today and KCR said that he'll continue in TRS as one of the party cadre. Mahusudhana chari also said that the state party committee yet to approve it. Tomorrow TRS state party committee is going to have an emergency meeting on this matter. So there are all the possibilities that the committee may reject his decision. Vijayashanthi said that the party won't accept KCR's resignation and if KCR resigns, she too will resign from her party posts immediately.

Vijaya Rama Rao of TRS told the media that there will be only one person who can take the movement aggressively in to the people and who can be the leader of TRS is none other than KCR. KCR's son-in-law turned down the media's request to comment on this issue. All the top leaders of TRS (mostly those who support KCR) assembled at Telangana Bhavan immediately after the announcement of KCR's resignation has been made. and most of them are saying that they too will resign and they will convince KCR tomorrow in the party committee's meeting.
