Yesterday French President Nicolas Sarkozy's remarks on Burkha will definitely make the Islamic world angry.. Though his concern about the women got a point, the final statement / request should come from the people who are using  BURKHA, but not by Sarkozy, because what he is feeling about Burkha is not important but what those women are feeling about it is important. If the Muslim woman still wants to wear Burkha, then Sarkozy or Gordon Brown or Obama got no right to ban Burkha.. After all it is a very sensitive issue related to the religion and if the women of that religion are not willing to wear Burkha it is up to them. Do we accept if Sarkozy says Punjabis shouldn't wear Pagda(turban) or Brahmins shouldn't wear Jandhyam.. We can not accept right? Will Sarkozy or any other christian (if he is a christian) accept if the people of other religion ask them not to go church on sundays and play songs with loud noise? No right? they will say that "this is a religious custom and we have all the right to practice it" right? So how come they can tell the muslim world that they banned Burkha? If there is one person on this earth have the right to ban the Burkha, It is the muslim woman.. neigther a church father nor a priest in the Mosque..

first of all it should not be viewed in a religious point of view. It should be considered from an Individual's freedom point of view. If a Christian or hindu woman is willing to wear a burkha she should be allowed to do so, and at the same time if a muslim woman is willing to shun, she should be allowed to do it as well. It is nothing to do with anyone and especially male. I hope Sarkozy is one.. (or sarkozy is thinking that every woman in this world wants to walk nude and take pictures like his lovely wife Carla Bruni?  )

Instead of giving a statement like "there is no place for burkha in France", he can say "In france, it is up to the individual whether to wear a Burkha or Not" would have sent a reasonable message to the extremist islamic groups.. But now by doing this, Sarkozy has thrown himself in to a danger zone and along with him he is taking his country and it's people too.. He is not like you and me who carry an individuals' opinion, he is a president of a country whose words carry the opinion of the whole France, and he should be able to make statements in a more diplomatic and friendly way at least with a minimum concern that these words of him can make his country against to the whole islamic world..
