Odarpu Yatra will continue, Jagan says in Delhi

New Delhi.

"Whatever happens, Odarpu Yatra will be continued.", is the statement of Jagan in New Delhi today. This statement is hours before his meeting with the senior leaders in New Delhi and the high command. Jagan made his intentions clear to the High Command before he meets them and now the ball is in Madam's court on how to deal with Jagan. Jagan also talked about 'TRS' leaders and activists cornorning ladies inside a room and pelting stones at them. He stated that is a barbarious act and that is called "Rowdism". He also said that he has got sufficient enemies to talk against him and to complain against him so that they all are trying to create a wall between him and the high command, but he is innocent and he is doing this Odarpu Yatra with out any special interests in it. He also seeked for Media's support to him in this issue.

Let us wait and see whether he'll change his tone after his meetings with the High Command, but as of now he is still the same and sent signals to everyone that he is not going to pulling back. He challenged the leaders who are talking against them and the media to prove whether he made a single political statement during his Khammam Odarpu Yatra while consoling 58 families in that district. He also said he'll resign as a MP and will leave politics if anyone can prove that.

Whatever his intentions behind this 'Odarpu Yatra' are, i am glad to see a 'telugu' not bending over to Delhi High Command. I am with him. He is turning the state politics into more interesting than we all expected. :)

This is regarding Jagan's Oodarpu yatra.  Though these are my personal feelings, I am sure a few of you will definitely see merit in my feelings.

Coming to the point, Jagan started on his oodarpu yatra, since he gave committment to the people, at the very spot of death of YSR,and also during and after cremation.  Fine.

If he gave a word to the people, it is in the capacity of Jagan S/o YSR, and can't be anything else. Then as a citizen, is he not expected to abide by the law? When his yatra is likely to lead to more violence and more deaths, doesn't he have the discretion to postpone the same?

Will he embark on another oodarpu yatra to console these injured person's families? And the cycle goes on!

When it is purely a personal visit, why inform the media in advance? He can as well visit these families and console them, offer them all his wealth. But why is he not following it?

Is he the only person to loose his father? If people are to be consoled as he says,why not his mother too join him? It is she that is most affected! But why is she not joining him?

It is said that people are dying 'cause they are worried that they will not get the rations, white cards, subsidies etc. Don't we have a govt to look after that?  One will worry,Only when his white card/cards are bogus,and this jagan's help is needed in that regard.

Many people, who lost their parents, never resort to such cheap gimmics. They ensure that the departed souls live in peace, attain Moksha or better lives. They do pilgrimages, not conduct OOdarpu Yatras witn publicity and fanfare.

An Impression is also created that the govt is against his tour. he defies the high commamd. convinces them that it is purely personal. Good!

Then is it the way to conduct the 'purely opersonal things' in public?The more violence you create, the more popular you become. Even TRS is sailing in this boat, I beleive.

It is time, some saner instincts prevail on Jagan and he goes on with whatever tour he plans, without much fanfare and publicity!

Hope I am making sense.

@Prasad.

Thank you for your time and for sharing your views with our readers. Agree with you on the point that 'Odarpu Yatra' should be simple without using it as a platform of showing up the following. If not, people don't consider it as 'Odarpu'.
