There are 3126 large and medium scale industries in the State. Details of number of large and medium industrial units and small-scale units set-up in each district with the total investment and the employment
generated are given in the tables below.

units, only 28649 units are working as on 31 Dec 2000 as per The Chief Inspector of Factories, GoAP.
Figures as per 2003. Districts with Red colour dots are having total employment less than 25,000. So, how many of Telangana region districts are in Red Zone and how many of Andhra & seema districts in the Red Zone? :) But we still say, In telangana there are no Jobs.
You will be surprised to see 57% of the jobs in SSI untis (41318 jobs out of 72354) are in Telangana region.
