Hyderabad in the hands of Political Mafia

28. January 2010 by close to reality 6 Comments

Hyderabad in the hands of Political Mafia. Yes, Absolutely true. Today i read a wonderful article on IBN's website and i wish you all read it too.

Few points that everyone must remember in this post and let the others know are..

1) The process of creation of separate Telangana state is going on in reverse direction. Usually, any government first examines a particular demand (Telangana in this case) through an expert panel; based on panel's recommendations, it consults all the concerned parties; builds consensus and then makes a final statement.

But Home Minister P.Chidambaram first made a statement acceding Telangana; then the government tried to build consensus; later, it invited all parties for talks and now it announced the constitution of an expert panel to study the demand. This reverse process has badly hit the lives of common man in the entire Andhra Pradesh.

2) Situation has turned so worse that instead of State Government, the IPL organisers met the leaders of Telangana agitation pleading them not to disrupt the IPL matches in Hyderabad.

3) The law and order situation in other districts of Telangana too has turned worst. In the entire region, the small shopkeepers and daily wage-earners are the worst hit. The so-called Telangana 'freedom fighters' have terrorised everyone.

4) Who is responsible for this chaos? KCR's hunger strike, violent protests by the students, or the power politics of Congress leaders? Macroscopic analysis of developments after the death of Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy indicates that all incidents of violence and lawlessness are politically motivated and intended towards either destablising the present government led by K.Rosaiah or to divert attention from something very important.

5) KCR went on fast demanding statehood for Telangana. The same KCR who had to change his constituency from Karimnagar to Mahboobnagar fearing defeat in the 2009 Lok Sabha election, surprisingly found thousands of supporters in the Osmania University, who formed a Joint Action Committee in no time and started spearheading the movement. KCR's 11-day fast, Chidambaram's statement, mass resignations by Andhra and Rayalaseema MLAs, all party meeting in Delhi and now politics over suicide of students, have destabilized the state, in phases. The political analysts need to find a connection between all these developments.

6) The demand for Telangana may be genuine and justified, but, I believe, the present agitation is surely not genuine or at least, not everyone associated with the movement is genuine. Unlike other movements that we saw in the past in Jharkhand or Chattisgarh, Telangana movement is being run in installments. The Telangana JAC frequently changes its deadlines, takes instantaneous decisions on 'bandhs' or other modes of protests and its leaders themselves are playing the 'resign' and 'withdraw' drama.

I am very sure that they are aware of the facts and figures. After all, these students are the ones that come from the Telangana villages, the ones who faced hardships in every form since they were born. I have the same students in my classrooms at college. They do not want the next generation to suffer like how the previous generations have.

Who is separating Telugu people? The Andhrites cannot convince the Telangana people to stay united. Have they succeeded in that since the past FIVE centuries? Since there is only dominance and exploitation, but never equal rights, it is natural for the people of Telangana to fight for a separate state.

Really? Then Who Am I? Didn’t i born and brought up in telangana? Didn’t i come from a middle class or lower middle class family? didn’t i see the fluoride affected regions of telangana?

But what the people of Andhra to do with all this? the number of MLAs from Andhra region are almost equal to the number of MLAs from telangana, we have 119 MLAs, what they have done for us in the past 50 years (forget about 5 centuries).

Is there someone stopping them to develop their region? 119 is not a small number, these 119 would have stood up against (united) whenever there is a project are rule came which is against to telangana, but all these leaders were sleeping all this while, and now all of them are talking only about separation, none of them have a plan for future telangana.

And how can we believe these leaders who has done nothing (if you say telangana’s growth is nothing) all this while are going to something in future. and with the divided 20MPs in a separate state (again these MPs will be split based on parties, so ruling party may have only 5 to 8 MPs in delhi) what we can demand?

today congress is having more than 30 MPs who are crucial in forming UPA government, but none of them got a good ministry, where as parties like DMK got good number of Ministers at good branches and doing good for their state (ex: Mamatha as railway in West Bengal).

If we fight and divide, no doubt we have to beg in future for anything, but even that begging will not help us.

in a way, separatists are digging the grave yard not only for the region of telangana, but also for rayalaseema and Andhra as well.

I am just stating the facts as how I came across them. I know it is easy to play the “blame game”, but there is some truth to the exploitation and domination that one has to acknowledge.

You are the first person that I came across from the Telangana region who knows about the hardships personally, but does not support a separate state. I understand your point of view, but in a democratic country, where the land is ruled by the people, do you not think it is THEIR requests we have to follow? If the desire of a people of a region is to have their own state is a divisive act, then all state formations is a divisive act after all.

Based on what I know, historically, since the formation of a unified state, agreements and promises were always broken.

In regard to the politicians, Telangana is ultimately a people’s movement, a poor man’s at that. Even if power hungry politicians come and go, they cannot stop the movement. How come the people have to suffer at the politicians expense? If you do not believe when I say that people from all ages in the Telangana villages are fighting for a separate state, you can go see directly what I mean with your own eyes. The politicians now are marginalized, the people are the ones who are running the whole movement, there are leaders that emerge from them. Right now, there is social agenda, it is well known that the Chief Minister will be a Dalit. The other agenda will follow once the state is formed.

What is the agenda right now for Telangana as a part of Andhra Pradesh?
What is your solution to the issue?

You yourself say that we should remain united, but then again you say that people of the region should develop the land themselves or that they didn’t do that. If that is what you are saying, then isn’t a separate state the solution since the Andhra politicians are not developing them anyway? Both of us are basically saying the same thing.

what a statement is this? Is it the author trying to say that “Telangana Movement” is by dalits and for dalits? how many more days people want to use caste card? Is it any way telangana movement linked with the caste?

Yes, politicians are marginalized because politicians like KCR had to change his constituency from Karimnagar to Mahboobnagar fearing defeat in the 2009 Lok Sabha election, surprisingly found thousands of supporters in the Osmania University, who formed a Joint Action Committee in no time and started spearheading the movement. :) Nalgonda leaders (congress) burning the fire without coming into the picture, because if they come, they have to answer their MADAM in Delhi.

Like yesterday lalitha college correspondent arrested for funding the OU JAC and doubts on his involvement or influence in the death of an innocent student.

Yes, now dalit leaders are ruling the telangana movement, because some of them thought that this is the time to make money. Like Manda Krishna Madiga & Co demanded money for every event that is taking place in Hyderabad now.
the IPL organisers met the leaders of Telangana agitation pleading them not to disrupt the IPL matches in Hyderabad.

There is the feeling that people are feeling they are being marginalized in this whole scenario. Nothing beneficial is there for telangana poor from this movement, and on top of it they are loosing daily bread and butter because of the undefined and unexpected bandhs.

transporatation system is ruined, daily labour losing their work, sports are ruined, economy is ruined, industries including IT are being ruined, money in state treasury is reaching ZERO, peace is only a dictionary word at this moment. In a word, it is the political mafia that is playing the game and ultimately common man is the victim.

DEMOCRACY? are you talking about democracy here? where is the democracy? if we have to follow the democratic way, then parties with separate telangana agenda like TRS would have won 119 Assembly seats in Telangana, because according to you, except me, all the people of telangana are supporting separate telangana, what a joke? How many seats TRS won? why TRS couldn’t contest in GHMC elections?

As of now, this telangana movement is a planned drama, in which Telangana Congress Leaders and TRS leaders are playing the main role. Added to that media’s high drama. treating KCR’s luxurious NIMS treatment as a fasting, fortunately Mahatma Gandhi & Potti Sriramulu are no more on this earth, other wise they would have anged themselves after looking at KCR’s drama and media’s new definition to ‘FAST UNTIL DEATH’

What Andhra Leaders did for telangana?
what question is this? Then why we have MLAs and MPs from Telangana? TAAGI TONGODAANIKA? MATTU VADILI NAPPUDU LECHI ANDHRA VAALLA MEEDA PADI EDICHI, HYDERABAD LO BUSINESS CHESE ANDHRA VAALLANI BEDIRINCHI DABBULU DOBBI MALLO ROUND TAAGI PADUKONI MALLEE ELECTIONS MUNDU NIDRA LECHI MALLO SAARI JAI TELANGANA ANADAANIKA?
for what we have 119 MLAs and around 20 MPS?

AADARAANI BHOGAMDI NELA SARI LEDU andi anta, it looks same here, we 119 fight among each other, we pull the legs of the others growing in the region, we wn’t do any good for our constituency, But every once in a while we wake up from sleep and say Andhra Leaders didn’t do anything for telangana. What logic is this? Then why do you elect your MLA or MP from telangana? Go and bring a Andhra Leader and elect him from your constituency and then hold his collar and ask him why not developing my constituency. Now he doesn’t need to answer our illogical questions are he doesn’t need to develop our constituency, he got his own constituency in Andhra or rayalaseema region from where he has been elected.

Couldn’t get the info from the statistical data given earlier? you can find more here..

Separate state doesn't make any sense. Its the same politicians who will be ruling Telangana again and who didn't do anything for their region when really bad is happening. I don't think that all politicians does really think of separate state. It is just a situation that made them to say 'YES'.

We are going to USA and working for big companies and we are really doing good to the company and to the country as well. This is well known to everyone including OBAMA but at the same time OBAMA should think about their people as well and he is making schemes for sending H1B holders back to INDIA. Its the same with TELANGANA and ANDHRA. Telangana is USA and ANDHRA people are immigrants.

After few months, USA companies will start fighting with OBAMA as they are badly hit after ignoring Indians and OBAMA will make another scheme to bring back Indians.

If separate Telangana state is formed and if its situation worsens then it cannot be reversed. So, please let us give good future to our kids.

Let us not forget that we are being ruled by politicians. If these kinds of agitations would have happened against politicians and corruption then we would have done much better than today.
