Central Government Banned CPI Maoist Party

after the recent violence in Lal Ghar, west bengal, Central Government announced that CPI (Maoist) Party will be considered as a terrorist organisation and it is going to be banned in the country with immediate effect. safety measures are on going in high risk areas in 5 states where Maoists are strong as they called for 48 hours bandh in those 5 states..

CPI(marxist) Party condemned government's decision and said that the government can not achieve anything by banning Maoist party, instead it can do something by negotiating and reasoning with them. To express their unhappiness towards this decision, CPI(M) leader Mr.seetharam Echuri met the Home Minister Mr.P.Chidambaram.
