will start with minuses.

1) If you post something on Google+ (whether it is a post or comment), you can always edit that post or comment. Which means if lets say you started a topic 'A' as your post and people are commenting related to 'A' and you as well.. after sometime if you go and change the topic of post to 'B' (which means earlier you were talking about a recently released movie and then suddenly in the middle of the conversation, you changed it to a recent tennis match) and some of your comments.. that is more than enough to crack others heads.. especially for the people who join the conversation after you did this magic.. :) forget it, they can never understand what all this post is about? Mumbai attacks happened exactly one year ago, and i was thinking that the people from all over India will be reading about 26/11 on that day 26th November 2009. But to our surprise, it seems like no one really bothered to read about it anymore and they rather interested to know the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation election results. It is Ok, if the searches from hyderabad are showing higher to GHMC results, but the over all results shown the same trend. Like the government, like the people. From our government, there are no solid actions against Pakistan or at least against the involved terrorists till date, and we are also habituated to forget the old things fast and run along with the present.

For the people from out side India, it may appear like in India which comes first? "Country or Politics" ? unfortunately, the answer is Politics. :( [More]

It's been an exciting nine months since we launched the Google Chrome browser. Already, over 30 million people use it regularly. We designed Google Chrome for people who live on the web — searching for information, checking email, catching up on the news, shopping or just staying in touch with friends. However, the operating systems that browsers run on were designed in an era where there was no web. So today, we're announcing a new project that's a natural extension of Google Chrome — the Google Chrome Operating System. It's our attempt to re-think what operating systems should be.

Interesting and very useful.. Google adding search power to public data, hope we can see this kind of data for India too.. According to Ola Rosling, Product Manager  at Google “This is just the beginning . Stay tuned for more.” Earthquakes are not the only thing that can shake Silicon Valley. After the dot-com bubble burst back in 2000 the unemployment rate of Santa Clara county went up to 9.1%. During the last couple of months, it has gone up again: Google just launched a new search feature that makes it easy to find and compare public data. So for example, when comparing Santa Clara county data to the national unemployment rate, it becomes clear not only that Santa Clara's peak during 2002-2003 was really dramatic, but also that the recent increase is a bit more drastic than the national rate: If you go to Google.com and type in [unemployment rate] or [population] followed by a U.S. state or county, you will see the most recent estimates: Once you click the link, you'll go to an interactive chart that lets you add and remove data for different geographical areas. It is so nice, go and have a look at it. full article
