HYDERABAD: It was a magical day for the 60 odd children suffering from cancer and undergoing treatment at the MNJ Cancer Hospital here today.
Magician Samala Venu gave them something to smile about and some moments to cherish with his performance in the Hospital on the occasion of World Wish Day under the auspices of the Hyderabad Division of the Make A Wish Foundation.
“It is a day I shall cherish all my life. The smiles and applause of the children at the MNJ Hospital touched my heart. I shall always remember their applause and their participation in the show more than any other show in my 30 year career,” Venu told mediapersons later.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation has launched a new digital platform to support the first ever World Wish Day on April 29 organising cultural events for canceraffected kids. The Foundation aims to make a difference in the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions around the world. Tollywood actor Daggupati Rana was the chief guest and participated in this charity event by distributing gifts items to all wish patients.
