Whenever you saw some nice blogs over the internet, feel like having one of your own? Couldn't resist your passion for writing or expressing your views on certain issue but looking for a better platform from where you can reach many people? want to make some petty amount for the time you are spending on Internet? then, 'blogging' is for you.

 

It's a sea of information if we start with, but let me touch the basic points here for you to start a new blog of your own (personal or professional). And once you are into it, i am sure you can move on on your own..

* there are many platforms for you to start blogging for free.. wordpress or blogger are the best to start with.. Both these services offer you multi language. so, you can choose if you want to write in Telugu or Hindi or English.

* choose an appropriate name, then register it with blogger or wordpress or at both (for testing and to understand which is convenient for you)..

* Thats it.. You can start posting.. anything.. about food, about your feelings, about the movies you watched, about your conversations with your friends(if not personal), about your work related.. etc., etc.,

* Then submit your site to Google/ Yahoo search engines..

* Create a webmaster account with google and submit your sitemap to google, so that google will come and look into your site once in a while to check any new content added to your blog and give your site name in the search engines.

* after few days you can see your site name coming in search engines.. and you can see the visitor statistics at google analytics.

* try to cross link your site with the sites with the same type of content. the more links you have, the better your site page rank will be.. the better page rank, more chances of your site coming on top in search engines.

* once you can see good number of visitors, create a google adsense account (free) with your gmail account and add those advertisements to your site (pretty easy in blogger and wordpress).. like Google adsense, there are other advertising sites as well who will pay you if you put their ads on your site and users click those ads.

that's all.. All you need is patience and passion to write, write and write. But don't get into this if you don't have sufficient free time.

you can have tens of blogs on your own with different names. or if you don't want your site visitors to split some going to some blog and some going to other, then better to have one blog and create different categories in the same blog.. like personal, movies, news, politics, random, miscellaneous etc.,

But if you want loyal visitors to come again and again to get some info on a particular topic, then better to maintain the site with fully one type of content, or if you are confident on what you write and definitely people would love to come back, it doesn't matter even if you put all in one place..

once you find all is well and you need more customization and you don't want anigalla.blogspot.com / anigalla.wordpress.com etc., (the tail wordpress/blogspot) then you can pay money (around $10 per year) to register your own domain name (anigalla.com) and then host your pages with a hosting provider. There are different packages to choose, as long as your ads money is more than these hosting charges, you are into + side. if not just continue with existing site with wordpress/blogger itself

 

one small trick while deciding your site name.. (this is just for example) Let us say you want to write on something related to girls and that too from Hyderabad or Andhra Pradesh, so naturally your site name should be something related to that topic.
check the below picture, i went to google and tried to type Hyderabad Girls (let's say i planned to use hyderbadgirls.wordpress.com / hyderabadgirls.blogspot.com)

the moment i entered in to "girls" even before i complete google started to display the search suggestion words (check the second one with maximum search results)
and check the search results given by Google. (so far there is no site name in the results with hyderabad girls, all are having different different names)
so, now if you register hyderbadgirls.com/hyderbadgirls.blogspot.com and after few days whenever some one search for "hyderabad girls", your site name will come on top (there is a maximum possibility)..

may be different fellows searching "hyderabad girls" for whatever reason, but as google gave your site on the top, naturally they'll click and come to your site, once they came in if at least 10 out of 100 likes the site design and want to read something, that is enuf for you. You are succeeded to get some traffic with search engine help and then you tried to tie them to your site with your content..

So, i guess you can do some research while choosing your site name..
