Harbhajan Singh’s blog is bhajji.bigadda.com

9. July 2009 by Close To Reality 0 Comments

Harbhajan Singh blog is the hot spot for Indian cricket lovers now. The reason is to read the response of Harbhajan Singh against the statements given by John Buchanan. Harbhajan is the first Indian cricketer who responded first and we all know he'll always be the first if it is to do with Australia.. What made harbhajan singh to blog about this issue is the following..

The former Australian coach John Buchanan has said in his latest book 'The Future of Cricket: The Rise of Twenty20' that Indian star cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid were not suited for the shortest format of the game. "You have to be inventive and fearless. And I don't see those qualities as part of Sachin's make-up at this stage of his career. Sachin Tendulkar is still a great player but not in this arena of T20," Buchanan said in the book published by Orient Paperbacks. Buchanan also said that Harbhajan often dishes out treatment but then finds an appropriate means to camouflage his action.

Irritated Bhajji replied in his blog bhajji.bigadda.com

Just woke up a while back, trying to adjust to the jet lag from West Indies. I have taken a short vacation in the UK visiting family here. Its been quite a hectic last few months for all of us, was a good consolation to win the ODI series against West Indies.

I was reading sms’s from my manager- Sangeet, who asked me to have a look at what the  greatest coach of an IPL team of all times had mentioned in his just released book.

I read through the comments on a online news portal. The great coach indeed had some great comments to make,  just like his great coaching methods.

I am not surprised at this. Infact anything coming out of Australia does not surprise me anymore.

It just shows how much they love me and keep thinking about me in their minds and hearts.

Anyways, whatever is happening in Australia just shows how much love and respect they have for us.

This is not the first time an Australian has showered his praise on me and am pretty certain he wont be the last one either.

What surprises (offends) me are the well crafted and framed comments on proven legends like Mr Gavaskar and Sachin by someone whose coaching credentials were doubted by the acclaimed and most respected Aussie Legend Leg spinner. The coaching credentials were tested waters again at an IPL team this year.

There used to be a time when action used to speak louder than words but now its vice-versa. Words draw more attention that action.

At times I wonder why all these things appear just before the launch of the book.

Good luck to them.

Well done Bhajji, there must be at least one person like you who can slap them back..
