Bharti-Walmart, the Giant killer of Small Scale Indian Wholesalers..

8. July 2009 by Close To Reality 0 Comments

Why the f**k India needs foreign wholesaler? It is reasonable if there is some foreign investor company coming into India to Invest the money in some industry where the Indian Companies are not competant enough or lacking resources of technology.. Government can give permissions to such kind of companies without any hesitation.. But why do we need a wholesaler who sells the vegetables, school bags, stationary etc., etc., which is nothing but a super market? when Indian businesses are very well settled and capable of handling it?

Why we need a joint venture Bharti-Walmart which will suck away the business from the small scale wholesalers of India.. Since it's inception on 30th May 2009 in Punjab, the surrounding small businessmen are already complaining that they have lost 15% of their regular business.. With the boosting business, this Bharti-wallmart already announced to open 15 more chain of stores across India...

Cool, they don't have good business in their home countries due to the recession, so they are trying to compensate those losses by extending their businesses to the countries like India where the retail market is one of the biggest in the world.. But what is the special benefit for the Indian businesses or India? if this stupid government went on giving permissions for this kind of foreign businesses, very soon they will make money with our own vegetables and our own manufactured goods just in the name of selling, and fill their bank accounts abroad.. what do you think?
