It's RAPE, REAP and RUN. This is the title of the full report "The Hell Diggers" by Tehelka on Gali Brothers and their illegal mining.

Here are some main points in their investigative report.

* THE SCALE OF CORRUPTION IN MINING IS A NATIONAL CALAMITY. NO ONE EPITOMISES THIS BETTER THAN THE BELLARY BROTHERS. KIDNAPPINGS, POLITICAL CLOUT, MUSCLE POWER.

* Mined at a legal pace, Bellary has enough iron ore to last 30 years. But it is likely to be ravaged in just six.

* The Beijing Olympics sparked a huge demand in China for iron ore. This triggered an ugly greed in Bellary.

* Most mine owners have their private army of guards, armed with SLRs. Even officials fear entering the sites.

* Young men between 15 and 25 have stopped studying. They’ve been given bikes and phones and made to spy.

* The Reddys pay Rs 27 per tonne of ore to the state. They sell at Rs 7,000 and make about Rs 20 crore a day.

* Reddy is building himself a 60-room house with bomb-proof shelters and a helipad for his night-vision chopper.

* Anjaneya, the Reddys’ chief mining officer, was kidnapped to stop him from blowing the whistle.

* Reddy’s money funded ‘Operation Kamal’ that brought the BJP to power in Karnataka. Delhi is their next stop.

Maoist leader says 'They believe in armed struggle' and extends full support to 'separate T-movement' to strengthen their roots in the areas like 'T', 'gorkhaland' etc., wherever there is a section of people not satisfied and the Human Rights leaders and TRS activists will be visiting the dead naxal-chief's houses. But they will say 'there is no naxals involvement' in the movement.

It is a fact and one can not deny it. Annas want unsatisfied people (or) innocents who fall for their speeches. Now there is no scarcity for them in telangana. [More]

Party Name is "Bahujan Samaj Party", which has been formed by Kanshi Ram for the backward classes of the society. For the backward classes to bring up their social and economical status? Lol. Now it is being led by a lady called "Mayawati". She started her Maya on the party and the people ofr so many years, but today's felicitation incident might have rocked the BSP party members and mayawati but definitely it shocked the country.

Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh wryly said Mayawati is "no more a Dalit ke beti but Daulat ke beti"(no more a daughter of Dalit but a moneyed daughter), referring to the garland of 1,000 rupee currency notes presented to her.(india today)

On the 76th birthday anniversary of Lat. Kanshi Ram (founder of BSP), the BSP took a public rally and in that rally to everyone's surprise, her party leaders felicitated her with a garland that is made of 1,000 rupee notes. If you see the Giant size of that garland, then sure you can guess the worth of it.

According to Indiatoday "Mayawati has been in controversy in the past for collecting public donations on her birthdays. An enthusiastic BSP worker from Kanpur had gifted a plot on the moon on her birthday this year. The BSP supremo’s diamond jewellery sets and her statues carrying a purse have been hot topics of discussion in political circles. But Monday’s extravaganza to celebrate 25 years of BSP’s existence and 76th birth anniversary of founder Kanshi Ram set a new bar."

After the BSP supremo came in the eye of a fresh controversy, Senior Congress leader Digvijay Singh wryly said Mayawati is "no more a Dalit ke beti but Daulat ke beti"(no more a daughter of Dalit but a moneyed daughter), referring to the garland of 1,000 rupee currency notes presented to her.

"Mayawati is no longer the woman representing the common man. She is playing in lakhs and crores (of rupees)," he said.

"We appeal to the government to take cognizance of Mayawati's rally and the garland presented to her. It should be inquired into," he added. [More]

we are saying in our telangana literacy rate is low, employment is low (though they are not correct). Ok, let's say we are right. Is it because of our region's population growth a reason for that? Is it correct that almost same number of people are getting higher education, but just because of growth in population in this region making the percentage of educated or job holders less? Look at the regions. Out of ten Telangana districts, 4 districts having much much higher population growth compared to state average. Where as in Andhra region, out of 9 districts the population growth in 5 districts is way below the state average. So, are we producing more number of people and complaining for more facilities and more educational institutes and more jobs? [More]

The people most trusted in a profession in India are "teachers" (teaching profession). This is the result of the online survey of the most famous "Reader's digest magazine". This is the trust that India has shown on teaching profession. But we do have a bunch of fools in our Telangana region who are demanding the valuation of "telangana students' answer sheets by telangana teachers and lecturers". Head of this fools gang is Prof.Kodanda Ram (a man suffering from 'Permanent Head Damage') followed by Kalvakuntla Kavitha and Yerrabelli Dayakar Rao etc.,

this is a demand by TPLA a month ago (in the last week of January 2010)

the Telangana Private Lecturers Association demanded the postponement of intermediate examinations by 15 days. They also demanded that all the answer sheets of students belonging to Telangana region be valuated within Telangana. “If these demands are not accepted, Board of Intermediate will be besieged by Telangana private and government lecturers,’’ Association president P Srinivas Goud said in a press conference.

And this is yesterday's picture of those fools. [More]
